        Almost all lawyers make a difference every day but they don't make headlines. The public doesn't hear about it. At Renaissance Lawyer, we celebrate the difference that lawyers make. We have identified several categories of contributions lawyers make to society.  In the future, we will post names, stories, links, and information about the "Renaissance Lawyers" in these categories:

We also have started a fun list of lawyers, past and present, who have made a difference but weren't necessarily known for their law practices.

Example: Gandhi was a lawyer better known for his non-violent campaign in India.
